As soon as Meta announced the launch of the WhatsApp Channels a week ago, the buzz it has created pushed many celebrities and organisations towards it.
This comes as a private way for people to receive updates that matter to them. However, this must be noted that Channels are a one-way broadcast tool for admins to send text, photos, videos, stickers, and polls. All you can do is read, react with emojis and forward it to your friends or groups which will include a link back to the channel so people can find out more.
How To Follow WhatsApp Channels
It has finally rolled out to all WhatsApp users! You can follow the Channels for all the latest updates and make it your day-to-day update tracker for your interested areas. Here’s how to follow it:
Channels can be found in a new tab called Updates on WhatsApp.
You will find a new symbol of Channels near status.
Go to that option, and select your favourite Channel. You can also share it with your chats with family, friends, and communities.
