The announcement of the official date for AFCAT
The Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2 2023. The AFCAT 2023 exam will be conducted on August 25, 26 and 27, 2024.
The AFCAT is a gateway to a challenging and rewarding career in the IAF. The exam is open to Indian citizens (men and women) who are graduates and meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
AFCAT 2024 Syllabus
The syllabus for the exam covers the following subjects:
General Knowledge
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning Ability
English Language
The exam will be conducted online in two phases: Phase I and Phase II.
Phase I will consist of objective-type questions in the four subjects mentioned above. The total number of questions will be 120, and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
Phase II will consist of a pilot aptitude test (PAT) for candidates who qualify in Phase I. The PAT will assess the candidate’s spatial and psychomotor abilities.
The online application form for AFCAT 2023 will be available from June 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023. The application fee is Rs. 250 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 125 for SC/ST candidates.

The AFCAT 2024 exam comprises four sections:
General Awareness: This section aims to test the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs, sports, geography, history, culture, basic science, politics, etc.
